Cheerio is a fun social drinking application. We observed how people were longing to get in touch with their companions and were devoid of their regular socialization. Thus, we seized the opportunity and gave the people what they wanted, a platform for virtual interaction.
Complication:
Creating a niche for Cheerio in an oversaturated market, trying to gain people’s attention while there are a million other options on their phones.
Our Solution:
Events were held by musicians, house party hosts, storytellers, entertainers of all sorts on this application. Additionally, we also reached out to our student bodies in various business schools while the application was in its beta testing phase in order to comprehend what needs to be developed further. They went on to become loyal users since they were a part of the process.
Influence:
Overall, we created a conversion rate of 35-40% and brought them over 5000 users in less than a week. This generated 500+ hours of engagement on the application.
